Naples and Caravaggio
During the tour you will focus your attention on the great painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio who enriched the artistic panorama of the city with his beautiful works. You will start by viewing Caravaggio’s Flagellation of Christ in the Capodimonte museum where you will also admire the works of Tiziano, Masaccio, Raffaello and Michelangelo. Despite the beauty of the gardens and the master works of art preserved there, the Museum is always quiet and never overcrowded. Afterwards, your guide will show you the historical center and you will reach the last work of art painted before Caravaggio’s death, The Martyrdom of Saint Orsola, which ispreserved in the Palazzo Zevallos on the famous Via Toledo.

The two sides of Naples by boat (or by car)
After you have visited the city center with all its jewels (Cristo Velato, Pio Monte della Misericordia, and the most important churches) you will continue your walk to the waterfront, where you will begin the boat part of the tour. By boat you will reach the marvelous area of Posillipo which is usually not part of the tourist’s itinerary. The Romans gave Posillipo its name because of the beauty of the environment that they believed could stop pain and illnesses. Depending on your wish and on the weather conditions, the tour can be made both by car or by boat.
