The Royal Palace of Caserta and the medieval town of Casahirta
The tour will start with the Royal Palace of Caserta. The construction of the palace began in 1752. The royal apartaments are a magnificent way to visualize the furnishings and style of the 1700’s and 1800’s. The tour will allow you to experience the atmosphere of the Bourbon court of Naples at that time. Afterwards, you will enjoy a pleasant walk in the astonishing beauty of the Palace’s Italian and English gardens. For its grandeure, the palace was rivaled only by the French Royal Palace of Versailles. Following your tour of the gardens, you will meet your car, and the driver will take you up to the medieval town of Casahirta in the hills outside of the city. Once you arrive in Casahirta, you will have a break for lunch. After lunch, the visit continues with a tour of the cathedral, the castle and the chance to stroll through the charming medieval village. You will meet your driver and your guide at your hotel or other meeting point as your prefer. The car service and the guide will be at your service for 8 hours.
